Woke up in the morning with the wife got the kiddos up for school. wife was making breakfast I was starting to do the dishes so I ran the water for a bit just thinking “Oh it’s just a little cold water I’ll let it run for a bit so after 5 – 8 minutes running the water still no hot water so then I go downstairs to check the water heater to see if that was lit which from the looks of it through the protective glass it didn’t seem like it was lit so we decided to consult with my wife’s brother to check it out further to see if it would worth buying a new pilot light thing or to get a new one since we were looking to get bigger water heater any ways.
It’s in the winter as well so the water is very cold not even warm enough to take showers, so we were looking for a solution as soon as possible so then wife’s brother was able to come over the next day to look at it. he informed he wasn’t able to get the pilot light to work as well so then we called few different plumbers to find a good deal.
1st one we call said there would be like 6 -7 day wait until they could install it the second one the other one would take about 3 -4 days to install new one then the last one gave us a better deal as well as gave us eta of the same day or the next day which they were able to come out install it that same day and replace it
