It all started on Aug 10th when a big storm had hit and knocked out power and internet all across the Midwest which this had put a me a bit off track on doing further blog updates. We lost power for 1 day as soon as that came on. we were very lucky that internet just started working due to the winds were at the speed of 100 mph maybe more it had knocked out power lines.
Here are some pictures below I don’t take any credit for this. although I do have some personal pictures that my girlfriend had taken and will like usual I forgot to ask to get them.
LUTHER, IA – AUGUST 11: In this aerial image from a drone, damaged grain bins are shown at the Heartland Co-Op grain elevator on August 11, 2020 in Luther, Iowa. Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said early estimates indicate 10 million acres, nearly a 1/3 of the states land used for crops, were damaged when a powerful storm battered the region a day earlier. I felt blessed and lucky that I wasn’t effected as bad as some of these areas who got it much worse some these locations took nearly a month or longer to get electric and internet back. My heart goes out to those who were effect.
The one thing I’m most blessed to say it our friends and family are all alive and doing well thorough out this horrific storm. You should be seeing more updates. I’m trying to get back in to doing weekly updates.
